  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk (more if needed)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 810 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Pat salmon dry, coat with olive oil and Cajun seasoning, then pan-sear for about 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. For the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour until golden, then gradually add milk while whisking until thickened. Season with crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet; sauté broccoli for 2-3 minutes before adding shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink.
  5. Serve the salmon alongside the garlic mashed potatoes topped with gravy and the shrimp-broccoli sauté.
