  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 2 cups uncooked penne pasta (or any short pasta)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  2. Stir in chopped turkey bacon and cook until crispy (4-5 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic; cook for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Lower the heat, stir in heavy cream, paprika, Italian herbs, and uncooked penne pasta.
  5. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is cooked al dente, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once pasta is cooked through, fold in chopped spinach until wilted. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
