  • 1 pound sirloin steak (cut into thin strips)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • ¼ cup onion (chopped)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
  • ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 15 ounces baby corn (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sirloin steak and minced garlic; cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed, then sauté green bell pepper and onion until tender.
  4. Stir in beef broth, soy sauce, sliced mushrooms, xanthan gum, and baby corn (if using).
  5. Cook until mushrooms are softened, then return the beef to the skillet and heat through.
