  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 14 ounces pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup Italian cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and sear them in a hot frying pan with a bit of oil until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove meatballs from the pan and add tomato paste; cook briefly before adding pizza sauce. Stir in the Italian cheese blend.
  5. Return meatballs to the pan with the sauce and top with shredded mozzarella.
  6. Transfer everything to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and meatballs are cooked through.
