Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups diced peaches
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by dissolving yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar; let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes. Add remaining sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix well and knead until smooth. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the peach filling evenly on top. Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. For the frosting, beat together cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  6. Once rolls are cool enough to handle but still warm, drizzle with cream cheese frosting before serving.
