  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, creamy peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder; gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Press two-thirds of the dough into the prepared baking dish to create an even base layer.
  6. Spread the strawberry jam evenly over this base layer.
