  • ½ cup whole buttermilk

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 (1 oz) bottles red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, adding eggs one at a time.
  4. Mix in cocoa powder, sour cream, buttermilk, vanilla extract, vinegar, and red food coloring until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture over the crust and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes at 300°F.
  6. Cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack until completely cool.
  7. For frosting, combine softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla; spread over cooled cheesecake.
