  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and sliced into wedges
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the sweet potato wedges in olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper until well-coated and spread them evenly on a baking tray. Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are crispy on the edges.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil, and optional rice vinegar to create your glaze. Place the salmon fillet on a separate baking tray, brush the glaze over the salmon, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until the salmon is just cooked through.
  4. Place broccoli florets in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
